Media will once again roll out the red carpet for its annual film festival from April 4-6 at the historic Media Theatre.
The 2019 Media Film Festival continues its tradition of elevating superb storytelling with the screening of 52 short films created by emerging talent from the region. There will also be films from as far away as Croatia, New Zealand, and Iran.
Now in its 12th year, the festival includes dramas, comedies, documentaries, animation, student films, and a Friday Late Night Horror Fest.
Among local highlights are The Mayor of Graterford, which looks at one man’s decades on the state’s death row, and Little Fig, a portrait of a Syrian refugee trying to survive in Los Angeles.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will have evening showings at 7 PM, and there will also be an extended Saturday matinee.
