Radnor’s Lincoln National has risen two spots to land at No. 205 on this year’s Fortune 500, a list that ranks companies by total revenues.

This continues the company’s upward trajectory after it slipped to No. 396 in 2006. In its 24 years on the list, Lincoln National had the strongest showing in 1995 when it placed 167th.

The holding company – which currently employs a total of 9,047 people – operates insurance businesses that offer annuities, retirement plans, non-medical insurance, and life insurance. Its market value is nearly $16 billion.
