The Foundation for Delaware County will award grants of up to $50,000 per year to nonprofit, government, and education agencies working in the priority program areas listed above. The average award is likely to be in the $10,000 to $25,000 range. A limited number of multi-year grants will be awarded.

Preference will be given to agencies located in the county, as well as to agencies that address the needs of the most vulnerable populations, including families living in poverty, immigrants, and non-English speakers. All grant proceeds must be used to provide programs and services in Delaware County.

Types of grants that will be considered include: general operating support, program or project support, capacity building, advocacy and awareness, capital expenditures, and endowment match campaigns.

Organizations may apply for more than one grant type and for up to three years in funding, though the maximum total awarded per agency will be $100,000.
