Recognize Your Employees on National Employee Appreciation Day

By

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day.

This was created twenty-three years ago by Bob Nelson, a founding Recognition Professional International board member and his publishing company, Workman Publishing. The goal is to take a day to recognize your employees for the great job they are doing.

1501 Ways to Reward Employees is available on Amazon.com.

To mark the day, businesses and organizations nationwide celebrate by recognizing the achievements and contributions of their employees.

This benefits both employers and their employees, as recognition and appreciation are key motivational factors in the workplace.

If you would like to show your appreciation for your employees on this day but are not sure where to start, this book will give you more than a thousand ideas – literally – on the many different ways you can reward them.

To make the day even better, insert some variety into the usual appreciation cards with these retro chalkboard thank you notes. And for an added bonus, give your employees one of these metal thank you coins that recognize them for going above and beyond in the workplace.

Also, for some ideas on ways to show your appreciation in the workplace throughout the rest of the year, check out this handy book which is chock-full of good advice.
