Sen. Pat Toomey recently visited New Hudson Facades in Linwood to extol the virtues of the new tax law that passed in December, writes Laura Benshoff for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Delco-based manufacturer of the glass and aluminum skins that cover skyscrapers is the latest stop in a string of appearances by Republicans.

Once he finished the tour of the high-tech facility, Toomey credited the tax bill he co-authored with helping to strengthen the company.

“The tax bill that we recently passed was designed to increase growth for companies like this,” Toomey said to a group of workers gathered on the factory floor.

Allen Cohen, managing partner of New Hudson Facades, agreed with the Senator, saying that the company gave a five percent raise to employees, thanks to the new law. He added that Related Companies, a partner company, also gave every factory employee $3,000 in their 401(k).
