Facilities Custodian and Handyman

Surrey seeks a Facilities Custodian and Handyman to work part-time, 25 hours per week from 10am – 2pm, Monday through Friday to provide daily room set-ups and teardowns, interior and exterior custodial, basic maintenance and handyman services for Surrey’s 3-year old headquarters in Devon and other branch locations as needed.

The Facilities Custodian and Handyman will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility, routine maintenance or oversight of necessary maintenance and for moving chairs and tables to change room set-ups.

In addition to a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial experience, candidates should have a flexible work schedule, a solid knowledge of maintenance and proper cleaning techniques, and basic custodial equipment and functions as well as the ability to relate well with staff and the general public.

Driver for Older Adults

This position transports individuals to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other activities in the western Delaware County and Chester County areas six to eight days per month.

The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal skills, flexibility, a caring attitude, a valid driver’s license, and will be able to pass a background check, driving test, and drug test.
