Delco Places Seven Among Region’s Top 50 Highest-Scoring High Schools on Keystone Exams

Garnet Valley High School

Radnor High School ranks among the Top 5 high schools in Greater Philadelphia with the highest percentage of students scoring advanced on the Keystone Exams, according to a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The exams have come under heavy scrutiny in recent years, and have been suspended as a graduation requirement by Gov. Tom Wolf until 2019.

The exams measure the proficiency of students in a number of subjects, with the emphasis on Algebra I, Biology, and Literature. The PBJ used data from the Department of Education for the rankings, and used the percentage of students who scored at the advanced level. It added the percentages together to come up with an overall score.
