Located in Swarthmore, CADES provides educational and disability services for children and adults through five core programs: an early intervention program, a special education school, an adult day program, a residential program, and a transportation program.

Direct Support Professional

This position works with adults ages 21 and older with intellectual and physical disabilities and provides necessary services to implement individual support plans and provide personal care needs for consumers.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds, bend, twist, and turn; and the ability to accomplish personal care duties for adults, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.

Staff Development Trainer

This person provides staff training and professional development activities, implements training syllabi for orienting new staff, ensures training compliance with all regulatory requirements and agency policies, and delivers ongoing staff training.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five years of experience in area/functions of staff development, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and staff trainer experience.

Director of Nursing

This position develops, monitors, and promotes the delivery of quality health services; provides direct oversight to nurse coordinators; oversees employee training and professional development; and establishes admission and retention criteria.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing, five years of clinical experience, skilled nursing clinical knowledge, and experience with intellectual disabilities and neuro-motor disabilities.
