Glen Mills Resident Tops Elementary Division at Competition for Young Pianists

The talent of an aspiring pianist from Glen Mills was music to the ears of judges in the annual Competition for Young Pianists during The Princeton Festival.

Elijah Yoon of Glen Mills was named one of six winners from a field of more than 100 competitors, according to a Town Topics report. He played at the top of the elementary division for young pianists ages 6 to 9.

Yoon is a piano student of pianist Natalie Zhu.

Other winners hailed predominantly from New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts.
