The Pennsylvania Department of Education recently published the average SAT scores for every public high school in the state.

The newly released data is for tests taken in 2016, and can be found by clicking here.

The SAT features three sections – reading, math, and writing – with the scores of each ranging from 200-800. All three scores are combined for a composite score.

The following Delaware County high schools, through their average composite score, ranked among the Top 50 in Greater Philadelphia:

  • 50. Springfield 1541
  • 47. Marple Newtown 1553
  • 42. Haverford 1579
  • 33. Penncrest 1605
