Rosemont’s Duchesnay USA has partnered with award-winning singer and actress Jana Kramer to raise awareness of Diclegis, the company’s morning sickness treatment.

One of country music’s brightest stars, Kramer is also known for her role as Alex Dupre on the One Tree Hill television series. Last year, Kramer spent several months touring and promoting her new album while pregnant and suffering from morning sickness.

“Going on tour pregnant with all-day ‘morning’ sickness was no easy feat,” she said. “It was a struggle to keep my energy and spirits up and my lunch down, while powering through performances, photo-shoots, and interviews.”

Kramer is one of approximately 3.4 of the 4 million pregnant women in the country who are affected by symptoms of morning sickness each year. Some are affected as early as the fourth week of pregnancy. Morning sickness is a medical condition that needs to be properly treated, as symptoms can worsen with delayed treatment.

Kramer was able to find relief after trying numerous home remedies and lifestyle changes once her doctor recommended Duchesnay USA’s Diclegis, the only prescription medication for morning sickness.
