A local business is heating up the excitement surrounding the upcoming Philadelphia Union soccer season.

The Chester-based team just scored a local sponsorship from Oliver Heating & Cooling in Morton, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report by John George.

The multi-year deal makes Oliver Heating & Cooling the title sponsor of the May 17 match against the Houston Dynamo and an all-season, in-game weather sponsor, and it provides for branding within Talen Energy Stadium.

“With Oliver as a Delaware County neighbor, they are the perfect fit for us, and we look forward to working together with them this season and for many seasons to come,” said Jean-Paul Dardenne, the Union’s Senior Vice President for Corporate Partnerships.

The Union will kick off 2017 with a March 5 season opener in Vancouver and a March 11 home opener in Chester.
