Delaware County Memorial Hospital, located in Drexel Hill and one of the founding hospitals of the Crozer-Keystone Health System, is a 168-bed facility that offers a broad range of acute and specialized services. Established in 1927, DCMH currently admits over 10,000 patients, treats nearly 40,000 Emergency Department patients, completes more than 5,800 surgeries, and delivers more than 1,800 babies each year.

Clinical Director

This position manages the human and material resources of a nursing department in order to provide quality patient care and an environment conducive to staff growth and satisfaction. He/she conducts patient rounds on a regular basis and assumes responsibility for the 24-hour care delivered by the nursing department. The person works with the clinical educator to identify the learning needs of the staff and develop programs to meet those needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing, though a master’s degree is preferred. He/she will have three years of relevant clinical experience. Management experience is preferred. The person must have a current Pennsylvania professional nursing license.

Hospice Director

This position is responsible for the overall direction of the day-to-day operations of hospice services provided in the home, facilities, and inpatient unit. He/she provides leadership and direction for the achievement of hospice growth and development.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in nursing. He/she will have a minimum of five years of hospice experience and three years of hospice supervisory or management experience. The person must have extensive knowledge of state and federal hospice regulations and joint commission standards. He/she must have a current Pennsylvania professional nursing license.

Sterile Processing Tech

This position conducts sterile processing and decontamination using steam and ETO sterilizers. He/she conducts instrument inspection and assembly, and uses the case cart system.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a related field and preferably be IAHCSMM-certified or a Surgical Tech. Experience with endoscopy scopes and orthopedics is highly desired.
