Following the $12 million raised from its private stock sale in June, Radnor’s Relay Network has brought in its first Chief Product Officer and a new Chief Technology Officer to complement the company’s rapid growth, writes Michelle Caffrey for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

CTO Steve Higgins and CPO Lisa Guillaume join the existing 50 employees, with another 25 expected to be added over the next year. The company provides its enterprise clients such as Independence Blue Cross, Comcast, and Citizens Bank with a secure way to chat with customers.

Higgins said Relay was the only company he considered moving to.

“I’ve been in the mobile space for 30 years now, and I immediately understood not only the problem they were solving, but the potential of where the product could go in the future,” he said.

Guillaume said the goal right now is to ensure that the platform is scalable.

“We’re working with our clients who have collectively tens of millions of customers, over a 100 million customers,” she said.
