Marketing & Communications Director

This position assists in creating a strategic plan and budget communicating VFMAC’s philosophy, mission, and needs to various constituents. He/she manages and maintains relationships with advertising, marketing, and public relations consultants, including media allocation plans, advertising creative, market positioning, and public relations opportunities. The person increases VFMAC’s visibility in the press and other media in a positive way.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, and/or communications. He/she will have five or more years of experience in public relations, marketing, or advertisement, with the ability to work with news and other communications media. The person will have strong understanding of and the ability to utilize social media platforms.

Senior Director of Institutional Advancement

This position provides integral leadership and oversight for the overall fundraising, alumni, and parent relations duties at VFMAC. He/she creates and executes a dynamic fundraising plan to advance VFMAC’s vision of building sustainable philanthropic resources that will support investments in academic programs. The person leads, coaches, mentors, and invigorates the development team to accomplish fundraising and departmental goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a related area, though an MBA or related degree is preferred. He/she will have a minimum of five years of fundraising experience and leadership and an understanding of industry best practices, concepts, and procedures.

Student Services/Title IX Coordinator

This position researches best practices, plans, and implements Title IX training and awareness programming for students, faculty, and staff. He/she maintains documentation of training and educational programs related to compliance with Title IX and VAWA, and provides certification to governmental reporting bodies. The person coordinates student clubs and organizations, including student government.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, though a master’s degree is preferred. He/she will have three years of progressively responsible experience that is directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities. The person will have demonstrated experience in conducting investigations.
