Controller, Finance and Accounting

This position oversees accounting and finance operations, including accounting, accounts payable, and payroll. He/she ensures compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws, providing recommendations to improve adherence and compliance. The person facilitates month- and year-end general ledger closings, including the preparation of account analyses, reconciliations, financial statements, and other reports as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. He/she will preferably have an MBA and CPA certification. The person will have eight to ten years of increasingly responsible professional experience and management in higher education, non-profit, or a similar institution.

Human Resources Information System Specialist

This position provides technical, data entry, and administrative support of all facets of the HR and payroll contracts databases. He/she serves as the primary source for first-level implementation, technical advice, guidance, and support to HR/payroll personnel in the utilization of HR/payroll software applications. The person researches recommendations or solutions for implementation and improvements and strategies to ensure a robust platform for human resources and payroll needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical education and experience. He/she will have general knowledge of common HR practices and employment laws and regulations. The person will have knowledge of current computer hardware and software, including Navicat, MySQL, MyCon, Microsoft Office, and more.

Director of Athletics and Athletic Development

This position coordinates all athletic team schedules to ensure compliance with NCAA Division III and Middle Atlantic Conference guidelines. He/she hires, evaluates, and supervises full-time and part-time staff and coaches. The person prepares, supervises, and manages departmental and individual sports budgets for the university’s intercollegiate athletic programs. He/she purchases, schedules maintenance of, and refurbishes equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will preferably possess a master’s degree with a minimum of five years of related experience in an athletic environment. He/she will have familiarity with NCAA Division III guidelines. The person has excellent interpersonal, communication, and public relations skills.
