Communications and Marketing Specialist

This position helps coordinate cultural and intellectual programming through speaker and public relations, logistics, publicity, audience building, and more. He/she collaborates with library leadership to communicate and promote the library and its key messages, strategic priorities, and value proposition. The person creatively executes print and digital materials to promote library value, services, and events.

The ideal candidate will have experience in copywriting and editing, and a minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in a library or cultural heritage organization. The person must have knowledge of electronic communications and social media, including blogs and online publishing.

Staff Accountant

This position is responsible for a variety of general accounting and financial functions, including account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and more. He/she assists departments with accessing financial information through both standard reports and customized reporting and analysis. The person assists with training university-wide staff to understand available financial system functions, basic budget reporting, and transaction review.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting. He/she will have two to three years of accounting experience, including knowledge of enterprise-wide accounting and administrative applications. Experience with Ellucian’s Banner Finance system is strongly preferred.

Senior Enterprise Project Manager

This position is responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-orientated work efforts in UNIT’s Enterprise Technology Services group. He/she creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. The person investigates and researches new technology solutions, and recommends new projects and initiatives to improve the overall stability of the enterprise.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent certification, training, and experience. He/she will have seven to ten years of IT work experience and four years of project management experience. The person must have knowledge of x86 server technologies and storage arrays, laptop computers, and peripherals.
