Wawa LogoWawa, the Delco-based chain of convenience stores, is a staple in the lives of Delaware Valley residents and beyond. Almost 700 Wawa stores – more than half of which sell gasoline – are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Central Florida. They offer built-to-order hoagies, freshly brewed coffee, hot breakfast sandwiches, specialty beverages, and an assortment of soups, sides, and snacks.

Director of Digital Marketing Strategy and Solutions

This position oversees digital strategy to increase reach, engagement, and brand advocacy of customers. He/she leads innovation in the customer and associate experience and in design for payment, loyalty, delivery, digital store experience, and customer and associate engagement. The person optimizes Wawa’s app and mobile-ordering platform to drive customization, enhance convenience, and build loyalty.

The ideal candidate will preferably possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing. A master’s degree in marketing is a plus. He/she will have significant retail experience, preferably in food marketing. The person will have 10 years of marketing experience and five years of digital marketing experience.

Associate Sourcing Specialist

This position procures items from manufacturers and resolves store-level ordering and invoicing issues. He/she manages the daily operations of the smallwares and supplies program and works with the distributor to resolve all ordering and invoicing issues. The person performs financial analysis of smallwares, display fixtures, shelving, and packaging and supply items, while managing the smallwares distribution channel.

The ideal candidate will preferably possess a bachelor’s degree in business and one to three years of purchasing experience. He/she will have experience in retail or manufacturing operations and in negotiation.

Back Office Fuel Accountant

This position is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all accounting and financial reporting related to fuel procurement and trading transactions. He/she develops and refines the infrastructure needed to support compliance with accounting and reporting requirements in the area of fuel procurement and trading activities. The person oversees transactions including barge purchases, imports, forward purchases, forward sales, and inventory movements.

The ideal candidate will preferably possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business discipline. He/she will preferably be a CPA. The person will have five to seven years of accounting and financial reporting experience, strong accounting research skills, and a minimum of four years of public accounting experience. He/she should also have three or more years of supervisory experience.
