The award-winning Philadelphia Boys Choir will visit Springfield High School for a fundraiser in November.

The Springfield Area Educational Foundation will host the Philadelphia Boys Choir for a seasonal, full-length concert on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Springfield High School. The Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated PBC – renowned for its commanding musicianship, intelligence, and interpretative abilities – will be joined onstage by the Springfield High School and Middle School Select Choirs.

The Villanova-based Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s oldest and largest providers of behavioral healthcare, will host its annual Hope Gala, with the theme A Night in Havana, on Saturday, Nov. 5.

One of Philadelphia’s premier black-tie events, the Devereux Hope Gala raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to benefit more than 3,500 children and adults with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive differences served by Devereux in Southeastern Pennsylvania. This year’s Cuban-themed event will take place at Vie in Center City, and will feature a patio Cigar & Mojito Bar, delicious food stations, unique auctions, and live music.

“The annual Hope Gala allows us to show our appreciation to individuals and organizations who are truly critical to giving the children, adults, and families we serve more fulfilling and rewarding lives,” said Devereux President and CEO Bob Kreider.

CASA Youth Advocates

The Media-based CASA Youth Advocates of Delaware and Chester counties has announced that tickets are available for its annual gala on Friday, Dec. 2 at the Drexelbrook Catering and Special Event Center in Drexel Hill.

The gala will provide an exciting evening for the community to come together to support child advocacy. The presenting sponsor is IMC Construction of Malvern. Tickets and sponsorships are available by calling 610-565-2208 or clicking here.

CASA Youth Advocates recruits, trains, and supports volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates who work to ensure abused and neglected children in the Dependency Court systems have a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.
