Public Relations Associate

This position will establish PR processes and metrics to generate a steady high volume of coverage and visibility. He/she will build on existing media relationships while creating new contacts (long-lead and short-lead, mainstream media, trade and blogs) within target media outlets across the U.S. and Canada. The person will proactively monitor and report competitor activity and relevant industry trends, events, and opportunities to appropriate teams. The individual will also pitch ideas to generate media coverage.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferably in PR, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism). He/she will have at least five years of PR experience gained in a corporate and/or agency setting with proven relationships with high-level media contacts. The person will have a strategic understanding of business goals and channels, such as business development, SEO, and partnerships.

Junior Interactive Designer

This position will work closely with the lead interactive designer, and will be responsible for working with a team of designers, content writers, the digital marketing team, and web and interactive developers on diverse, traditional, and new media projects. The ideal candidate will need to be versatile, multi-faceted, and a positive thinker. The person will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new design trends, standards, and applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in interactive design, and have one to two years of experience in interactive design. He/she should have experience in mobile, tablet, and desktop specific design. Coding skills and experience working with developers are a big plus. The person should have the ability to apply initiative and judgment to define and perform complex tasks.

Claims Adjusters

These positions will independently provide determinations of coverage for submitted claims, and provide complete and thorough review of medical records. They will provide excellent customer service, and communicate with treating veterinarians. They will also work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of high-level experience as a veterinary technician in a vet clinic. He/she will have a comprehensive understanding of disease processes and veterinary medical terminology, as well as exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
