Widener University’s online MBA program has been ranked a Top 50 “best value” program by Value Colleges, an online guide to the best values in undergraduate and graduate college education.

Widener’s online MBA with concentration in health care management ranked 36th on the list, which considers U.S. News & World Report rankings, AACSB accreditation, affordability, and return on investment.

“Top managers in healthcare stand to earn more than $150,000 annually,” according to Carrie Sealey-Morris, editor of Value Colleges, “and now is the time for healthcare professionals interested in promotion to obtain higher degrees that will make them more competitive.

“The Value Colleges Top 50 directs working adults to the online health management MBA programs that are most likely to yield a reliable return on the investment.”

According to Dr. Jayati Ghosh, Dean of the Widener School of Business Administration, the school is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

“Widener is also one of the first universities to join the SAP University Alliance,” Ghosh said. “This alliance affords students the opportunity to master state-of-the-art technology, providing them with a measurable competitive advantage when entering the job market or seeking career advancement.”

“The MBA program offers a competency-based curriculum with courses developed and taught in conjunction with industry professionals,” said Dr. Jose Proenca, Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs.

“It also complements the academic experience with career development workshops by professional leadership coaches, preparing students to excel in today’s competitive and evolving workplace.”
