McdonaldsThe McDonald’s on State Road in Upper Darby welcomed its customers back with a grand re-opening celebration after a 10-day renovation, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Delaware County News Network.

Customers seemed to appreciate the new look as they wandered through the recently remodeled restaurant.

The new design includes a remodeled modern exterior, ordering on one side with pick up on the other, a new beverage center, and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment.

A customized mural on the dining room wall depicts the Tower Theater, Municipal Building, and the Philadelphia skyline, which complements the new design scheme. It also has a new indoor digital menu board.

“I cannot say enough about the community of Upper Darby,” said owner Rich Doane. “Everyone has been outstanding to work with.”

Doane also added that he is looking to add more employees to his team and that interested people can stop by any time to fill out an application.
