Director of Academic Budgets and Administration

This position supports the Vice Provosts, Deans, and Chairs in developing and monitoring academic budgets, and works collaboratively with Accounting and Finance in monitoring contribution margins of academic programs. He/she provides written financial analyses at least monthly to the deans, and quarterly to the Vice Provosts and Provost. The person reports on financial issues either developing or anticipated that need the attention of the management and trouble shoots budgetary issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree – an MBA is preferred – and have experience in academic administration in higher education. He/she should have experience in budget management, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Supervisory experience and proven ability to lead a team is required.

Director of Assessment

This position will lead development of a full-orbed assessment system that integrates with academic and university planning in collaboration with university leadership, campus units, and faculty. He/she will organize in a centralized repository and manage university-wide assessment data and documents gathered from programs and offices across the university. The person will analyze institutional assessment data (e.g. administrative and student learning), disseminate results to appropriate stakeholders, and prepare reports, including the Annual Report on Institutional Assessment.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Master’s Degree – a terminal degree is preferred – and the ability to collaborate constructively with multiple and diverse constituents. A proven record of student learning assessment is required, as is a working knowledge of teaching and learning styles appropriate for various types of learners.

Senior Writer

This position is responsible for the management of multiple writing projects, often with tight deadlines. He/she becomes a spokesperson in communicating the university’s brand, and articulating what it stands for, and leveraging many different types of copy and content with various colleges and departments. The person will have the ability to evaluate and edit content, structure, and format for a range of written material.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. He/she should have a minimum of five years of writing and communications experience, and have highly effective communications skills with a good command of the English language. The person should be a creative thinker and team player, possessing integrity, discretion, and excellent judgment.
