Radnor High School Unveils Wall of Honor to Commemorate Deceased Service Members

Radnor High School has unveiled its Wall of Honor.

Radnor High School unveiled the Wall of Honor last week to commemorate the 56 Radnor Township men and one woman who gave their lives defending the country, writes Linda Stein for the Main Line Media News.

It took the efforts of numerous members of the community, students, teachers, and staff to ensure that the Wall of Honor unveiling took place just before Memorial Day.

The touching tribute has the words “Lest We Forget” at the top, with the U.S. and Radnor High School flags flanking triangular shaped boxes, each of which contain a flag for one deceased service member.

There is also a bronze plaque and interactive computer screen that plays short documentaries produced by Radnor High School students about each of the veterans on a 26-foot-long wall designed by RHS sophomore, Daniel Bullock.

The emotional ceremony ended with the mournful strains of “Taps.”
