Application Support Specialist

This position will support the internally developed Ruby on Rails enterprise application, and work with end users to identify issues and document potential resolution. He/she will collaborate with department managers to document new feature requests, and coordinate with the development team for testing and deployment of new features. The person also identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, and monitors ticket queue for high priority tickets.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have one to three years of experience in an IT role. He/she should have a knowledge of commonly-used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures, and have the ability to use problem management databases and help desk systems.

This position is responsible for the development and coordination of marketing strategies, and the promotion of Power’s products and services to prospective and existing clients. He/she will deliver interactive sales presentations on eco-friendly, green products and services, and participate in ongoing training camps on a weekly basis.

This position will develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new customers, and interface with decision makers on a daily basis. He/she is responsible for work in an outside business development position in various settings, including retail and event marketing. The person will uncover and identify new business opportunities, and have working knowledge of eco-friendly, green remodeling products and its benefits to the consumer.
