Technology Accessibility Coordinator

This position is instrumental in ensuring that the college achieves comprehensive electronic and information resource (EIR) accessibility. He/she will support collaborative and coordinated efforts to make immediate improvements while building long-term awareness and support for technology accessibility across campus. The person will provide project management, facilitation, education, and outreach services for all academic and administrative departments.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. He/she should have previous experience advising faculty on matters of pedagogy related to universal design for learning (UDL) and accessible education information resources (EIR). The person should have demonstrated experience in communicating technical information to users of different skill levels and abilities.

Academic Support Coordinator

This position works to support student learning in introductory courses in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics by administering and participating in a program of academic support services. He/she will work collaboratively with the department’s faculty and students to initiate, maintain, and promote activities that provide students with resources that enable them to better achieve academic success. Other responsibilities include overseeing student support services and working with faculty to hire mentors, tutors, and graders.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any field, and have knowledge of calculus and linear algebra. He/she should have exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with faculty and students and to oversee student workers.

Assistant Dean of Admissions

This intermediate level position plays a key role in the selection of the college’s first-year class. Tasks performed include managing and traveling to a regional territory, visiting high schools and college access organizations, attending college fairs, and performing outreach through workshops and presentations. He/she will read and evaluate a full share of applications and participate in on-campus recruitment activities, interviewing prospective students, conducting information sessions, and participating in open houses.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and three years of admissions, college counseling, or related experience. He/she must have public-speaking experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
