Manufacturing Engineer

This position applies standard practices and techniques as needed, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, performs root cause analysis, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes. He/she will drive and manage projects at the facility level, and coordinate manufacturing tasks. The person will also interact with Production team to trouble-shoot and problem-solve injection molding issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and have two to five years of experience in a manufacturing or design environment. He/she should have a demonstrated track record of successful project completion/implementation. Plastics knowledge and background is preferred.

Manager of Quality Assurance

This position will manage and direct in-process Quality improvement initiatives to achieve quality goals, and ensure that all ISO 00 and QS 00 requirements are being met, facility-wide and corrective action reports are quickly resolved. He/she will coordinate the facility’s SPC (statistical process/quality control) program and assist all areas in application of statistical methods to improve Cpk. The person will also manage the customer complaint system including problem resolution/correction/prevention with necessary response activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering, and have five years of experience as a manager or supervisor in a manufacturing environment. He/she should have thorough knowledge of ISO and QS 9000 requirements. Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and analysis procedures such as FMEA, DOE, QFD, and SPC is required.

Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

This position will manage the Material Associates responsible for receiving, shipping, material handling, and cycle counting. This is done to ensure maximum daily output and workflow. He/she will ensure compliance to company’s quality and environmental systems and regulatory requirements associated with the shipping and receiving of materials, components, and finished product. The person will be the primary liaison with external sources, such as carriers and storage facilities, in setting expectations, monitoring conformance to requirements, and driving corrective/preventive action as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a two-year degree, and have three to five years of supervisory experience in Shipping/Receiving, Production Control, or Purchasing. He/she will have knowledge of MRP systems and inventory control concepts. The person will have the ability to understand the technical aspect of production processes.
