Principal Software Engineer

This position will design, implement, and document core technology components. He/she will develop custom applications using internal software frameworks, and develop and customize data mining and statistical techniques for operation on large datasets. The person will also update, optimize, and administer large-scale data processing routines.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least eight years of professional experience working in software development field. He/she should have at least three years of professional experience in Java development in a Linux environment. The person should have a strong understanding of RESTful Web Services and MicroServices.

Senior Product Manager

This position will be leading a cross-functional team to drive the acquisition and integration of video metadata into Rovi products and services. He/she will be expected to work in a highly collaborative manner with the worldwide Sales, Content, Data Operations, and Engineering leadership teams. The person will assess market needs and guide products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions to Rovi’s core market segments.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree – an MBA is desirable – and have at least five years of product management or similar experience in Computer Software, B2B, B2B2C, Media/Internet, and Web 2.0/Web 3.0 types of products. He/she will have an analytical mind and strong problem-solving capabilities, evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities, and competitive threats.

Senior Project Manager – IT

This position will ensure successful and timely project delivery and execution of IT initiatives. He/she will partner with Senior Director of IT Administration in the design and delivery of technology capabilities for the enterprise, with a clear focus on process improvement and the overall advancement of IT maturity levels. This individual will be accountable for implementation of IT solutions and process re-engineering efforts through analysis, stakeholder/resource engagement, and planning and effective project delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have the ability to directly manage small high performance teams and manage effectively in a matrix environment. He/she should have deep experience in creating work plans, meeting deliverables, and effectively managing a large portfolio of projects and activities.
