The rhythmic pop of pickleballs connecting with paddles recently echoed throughout Dill Dinkers in Lansdale for more than just bragging rights.
During the Trumark Cares Foundation’s annual Pickleball with Purpose fundraiser, players and local business leaders came together to turn a day on the courts into more than $12,715 for community programs serving individuals and families throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
“At Trumark, we believe in the power of people coming together to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve,” said Kristin Ronca, President of the Foundation’s Board and Director of Brand and Growth Strategy for Trumark Credit Union. “Pickleball with Purpose is a great example of that spirit in action. Through the generosity of our players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, we’re able to invest in programs and initiatives that strengthen our local communities and help meet the needs of those who need it most.”
The funds raised at the courts translate directly into impactful community development grants and resources throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. By partnering with regional organizations, the Trumark Cares Foundation creates a pathway toward stability for underserved and low-income families.
The fundraiser’s success was fueled by strong support from businesses across the region.
Hill Wallack LLP, McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia, and Slice Communications served as silver sponsors, while Candescent participated as a Community Champion. Additional support came from SRM and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, which provided food and beverage sponsorships, as well as court sponsors W.B. Homes, Cutek, Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP, NFP, Obermayer, RKL, and Sun East Federal Credit Union.
A number of local organizations also contributed in-kind donations that helped enhance the player experience and fundraising efforts, including Beasley, Backyard Beans, BarkBox, The Doylestown Bookshop, HALO Branded Solutions, Longwood Gardens, Wawa, Whole Body Yoga Studio, and Gourmet Gift Baskets.
