The immersive four-day program provides hands-on labs, collaborative projects, interactive demonstrations, and real-world problem solving, all led by Widener’s engineering faculty.

The camp introduces students to multiple engineering disciplines, including biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, robotics, and construction management engineering.

Widener’s engineering faculty has guided students through engaging STEM experiences since 1996, inspiring curiosity, innovation, and confidence.

Participants will work with the same technologies and software used by engineering professionals while exploring activities such as launching bottle rockets, controlling robots, designing bridges, using Arduino technology, testing soil, creating polyurethane foam, purifying water, experimenting with 3D printing, and analyzing concrete mix design.

Widener’s School of Engineering is recognized for hands-on learning opportunities and advanced lab spaces that include makerspaces, machine shops, virtual reality simulation environments, and multidisciplinary engineering laboratories.

Widener’s Engineering Camp emphasizes a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where students of all skill levels can explore engineering concepts comfortably while building friendships and connections with faculty mentors and fellow future engineers.
