The country’s largest owner and operator of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, Encompass Health, has announced the opening of its new Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville.
The 66,000-square-foot, 50-bed facility in Concord Township is accepting patients now.
Treatments are available for those recovering from spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic conditions, amputations, brain injuries, and strokes to help them regain independence, quality of life, and functional ability.
During their stay, patients have access to a minimum of three hours of occupational, physical, and/or speech therapy five days a week. They also receive regular physician visits and round-the-clock nursing care.
Treatments are designed by the hospital’s team of nurses, physicians, and therapists to meet every patient’s recovery goals.
“We are excited to open Encompass Health Concordville, bringing comprehensive rehabilitation care closer to home for patients in the community,” said President of Encompass Health’s Northeast region Mat Gooch. “Our dedicated team of clinicians looks forward to making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives through personalized rehabilitation that improves both function and quality of life.”
The facility includes all private patient rooms, two therapy gyms, an in-house dialysis suite, recreational spaces, a pharmacy, a dining room, and more.
