Kylie Kelce stopped over in Harrisburg recently to talk with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro for her monthly video series, FAFO. The interview aired on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, on Tuesday, writes Aliya Schneider for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Kelce, who lives in Haverford, combined some serious conversations with Shapiro and light-hearted moments that included shooting hoops on the roof with the governor.
The wife of former Eagles center Jason Kelce bonded with Shapiro over their shared love of Philly sports and over the chaos that surrounds raising children (the Shapiros and the Kelces both have four children).
Shapiro, embracing social media influencers ahead of a potential 2028 presidential run, made his own humorous video Monday showing him preparing his office for the “Queen of Philly’s” visit.
“I am a lifelong Pennsylvanian, so I feel particularly special about being here,” said Kelce.
Their talk ranged from discussing Shapiro’s signing of a bill to keep Philadelphia bars open until 4 AM this summer, to women’s access to menstrual products and improving maternal health, to Wawa and Sheetz supporting employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
