Howard Hanna Real Estate Services plans to open a 40-agent office in Devon, marking its entry into the Main Line market just months after its regional debut, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Opening this spring, the Devon office will be led by Janet Rubino, who, along with her husband Art Herling, recently joined Howard Hanna from Long & Foster. The office marks the Pittsburgh-based brokerage’s fourth location in the Philadelphia area, after Blue Bell, Doylestown, and Northern Liberties opened in January.
The majority of agents at the office are transitioning from Long & Foster. The Art Herling Team there posted almost $290 million in sales in 2024, placing second in the state. Other agents will be arriving from eXp Realty and RE/MAX.
“I’ve always found this to be a signature location, and one that any company that is expanding and planning to grow in the market share needs to really capitalize on and have a presence in,” said Rubino.
She added she wants the office to become a “huge force in the Philadelphia marketplace.”
