
West Chester University’s Opera Theatre invites the campus and surrounding community to experience a fresh and entertaining take on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Così fan tutte, with performances on Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 PM and Sunday, May 3, at 3:00 PM in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, 700 S. High Street, West Chester.
Children under 12 are admitted free, and West Chester University faculty, staff, and students receive free admission at the box office with a valid Ram Card, making this a welcoming and accessible event for families and the broader community. General admission tickets range from $8 to $14.
Featuring a brilliant score by Mozart and a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte, Così fan tutte is a mischievous romantic comedy that puts love and fidelity to the test. In this updated production, the opera’s timeless story is reimagined as a reality television show, bringing a contemporary twist to Mozart’s classic.
Performed in Italian with English supertitles, the production showcases the talents of student performers from West Chester University’s Wells School of Music.
