Spring has a way of pulling people outside. This weekend in Doylestown, that pull leads to Delaware Valley University, where A-Day returns as a three-day celebration of community, agriculture, and campus life.
Running April 24-26, the student-produced event transforms DelVal into a lively festival that blends hands-on learning with classic family fun. Kids head straight for pony rides, a 40-foot obstacle course, balloon animals, and a giant slide. Nearby, parents settle into the rhythm of live music, browse craft vendors, and watch blacksmiths at work.
A-Day takes place:
- Friday, April 24: 12-8 PM
- Saturday, April 25: 10 AM-7 PM
- Sunday, April 26: 10 AM-6 PM
Admission to A-Day is free. Parking is $20 per car (cash only), and ride/attraction tickets can be purchased at the event. Additional parking is available at Penn Medicine/Doylestown Health Hospital, with shuttles available throughout the weekend.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend — something that feels local, lively, and just a little different — A-Day offers it. Not as a single attraction, but as a full experience.
And like any good tradition, it’s best understood in person.
