The 7,328-square-foot home dates back to 1953. It was renovated and expanded in the early 2000s.

The home has seven bedrooms and eight full bathrooms.

The gated property on Parkes Lane is just over an acre. It features a pool, detached garage, and direct access to the Radnor Trail.

The backyard features a large brick patio surrounding the pool. There’s also a covered area with a fireplace and TV.

Listing agent Stephenie Christos of the Karen Strid Team at Compass Real Estate described the home as “the best entertaining house that you can think of.”

That sentiment was echoed by owners Jeannie and Henry Fischer, who bought the property in 2009. The Fischers added the pool and converted a game room into the pub room.

The layout is great for entertaining,” they said, and described the outdoor pool and patio, the pub room, and the indoor basketball court as family favorites during their 17 years at the property.
