Bensalem’s Parxview Hotel has officially opened, just in time for the major sporting events and semiquincentennial celebrations taking place around Philadelphia this year, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The new hotel features a total of 160 guest rooms, including 16 suites. The former 50-year-old Inn at Fox Chase was completely transformed and retrofitted, now sporting a modern, luxury design.
“We are proud to debut the premier hotel experience in the region,” said Parx CEO Eric Hausler. “And we think it will be consistent with what our guests have come to associate with the Parx brand which is the highest quality product, excellent food, and amazing guest service.”
Hotel guests can enjoy the on-site parking, fitness center, and free shuttle service between the casino and hotel. The Bistro at Parxview Hotel is a delicious dining option for guests, with elevated casual dining and cocktails.
The pool deck is still under construction, having been delayed by the winter weather, but is expected to open at the end of May, according to Parx officials.
“Obviously, Parx brand standards are our big thing,” said Parx COO John Dixon. “So we wanted to build a four-star hotel that’s fairly luxurious but comfortable and something that people will feel comfortable with the design and not be too over the top — trying to get that middle ground.”
