New Vintage Shop Opens in Phoenixville for ‘Oddballs’

Molly Ferguson opened Great Scott Vintage in Phoenixville on Friday, Feb. 6.

Described as a shop “for oddballs, by oddballs,” Great Scott Vintage specializes in vintage clothing, eclectic home decor, and gifts.

A Phoenixville native and graduate of Phoenixville High School, owner Molly Ferguson is returning to her roots to launch her new venture, located at 26 S. Main Street.

Ferguson brings over nine years of high-level digital merchandising experience from retail giants like Walmart, Burlington, and Lord & Taylor. After a career spent in the fast-paced world of corporate retail, she is now applying her industry expertise to curate a sustainable, character-driven shopping experience for her hometown.

Great Scott Vintage aims to bring “warmth, character, and a touch of magic” to every home. By focusing on affordable vintage finds and a funky, inclusive atmosphere, the shop serves as a new anchor for the burgeoning art and retail scene on Main Street.

The opening weekend kicks off with a celebration featuring a first look at their inventory, raffle prizes, and more.

Ferguson sources all items from second-hand shops, estate sales, auctions, attics and basements, and anywhere she can find a diamond in the rough. Items are researched for history and pricing to ensure customers get the best deal.

The shop also runs online, showcasing an amount of inventory that’s available for shipping or in-store purchases.

From 90s blazers in colorful designs to stunning glass vase decor, oddballs will enjoy perusing decades of history.

Check out Phoenixville and visit the shop for the opening weekend at Great Scott Vintage.
