Steak meat supplier Philly’s Best Steak Co., headquartered in Yeadon, is working with wholesale food service supplier Restaurant Depot to expand its product nationwide, reports Restaurant Depot LLC for Perishable News.
A 300 percent distribution increase of its product will bring authentic Philly cheesesteaks to new markets, reaching over 100 stores across the U.S.
Restaurant Depot will also offer an expanded Philly’s Best product line, with additional beef, chicken, and Halal options.
“We are thrilled to work with Restaurant Depot to expand to new regions, bringing restaurants and suppliers the highest quality steak product, and introducing the cheesesteak to new audiences,” said Zafeiris Akranis, president of Philly’s Best Steak Co.
Philly’s Best Steak is expanding its capacity in 2026 with the opening of a new state-of-the-art processing and distribution facility in Yeadon.
It has been named the preferred steak of the Philadelphia Phillies.
