Following Abrupt Closure, Rocco’s at The Brick Releases Statement with Update

Rocco’s at the Brick in Newtown issued a statement to thank customers and address concerns regarding gift cards following its abrupt closure.

After its abrupt closure, Rocco’s at The Brick in Newtown issued a statement earlier this week to thank customers and address concerns regarding gift cards, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

“Your support has made this transition easier, and we are incredibly grateful for each of you,” wrote the eatery.

Rocco’s also noted, in response to numerous social media comments about gift card refunds, that it was waiting to issue a statement until a clear and organized system was in place to ensure no customers slipped through the cracks.

According to the establishment, its website will be updated in the next few days with a detailed questionnaire for customers seeking refunds, and the link will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

“In the meantime, we unfortunately were unable to keep our previous phone number since we left the Brick Hotel,” the statement continued. “No Rocco’s personnel are reachable at that location. You can still reach us on email at [email protected].”

Customers who do not want to wait can email their name and phone number, gift card number, purchase date, and mailing address to receive a refund check.
