The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce hosts a Coffee Connection event on Friday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, at the Delaware County Literacy Council, 2217 Providence Ave. in Chester.

This event is free to members and $25 for prospective members.

The Chamber is proud to partner with Delco Literacy for this special Coffee Connection, where networking meets purpose. For over 50 years, Delco Literacy has empowered nearly 20,000 adults across Delaware County through free literacy and workforce education services. With programs ranging from GED prep and ESL classes to digital and financial literacy, they’re building stronger futures—one learner at a time.

Come learn more about their incredible work, meet local professionals, and enjoy casual conversation over coffee.

About Delco Literacy: 

Delco Literacy provides literacy instruction to adults ages 18 and older in the City of Chester and throughout Delaware County. Delco Literacy offers classes and one-on-one tutoring on-site in Chester, online, and at schools and libraries throughout the county.

With a team of 19 full-time staff and over 55 trained volunteer tutors, Delco Literacy offers comprehensive literacy and workforce services, including: Adult Basic Education classes to build foundational skills; GED prep for high school equivalency testing; all levels of English as a Second Language (ESL) classes; career readiness support/workshops; and Digital, Health, and Financial Literacy classes and workshops.

For 50 years, Delco Literacy has helped almost 20,000 men and women reach their educational and employment goals. As has been our tradition, our services are always free for all participants.
