Busy Philipps is lighting up the holiday season with the return of her QVC+/HSN+ talk show Busy This Week, writes Scott Fishman for AOL.
The series, which blends celebrity interviews, lifestyle chats, and shoppable moments, will launch four new festive episodes starting Oct. 29 and running through Dec. 12.
Phillipps will welcome an impressive guest list that includes Scarlett Johansson, Debbie Gibson, Martha Plimpton, and Henry Winkler. Each half-hour installment will focus on the fun (and chaos) of Friendsgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and all things holiday cheer.
Philipps, who co-executive produces alongside longtime collaborator Caissie St. Onge, first joined QVC in 2022 for a special called Busy for the Holidays. That one-off event proved so popular that it sparked the creation of her current series.
Season 1 featured stars like Tina Fey, Hoda Kotb, and Andy Cohen, helping establish Busy This Week as a fresh, interactive take on the traditional talk show.
Of course, being on QVC+, viewers can shop while they watch, from Philipps’ outfits to décor seen on set. As she told TV Insider, “We always had the intention one way or another of rebooting or doing a late-night talk show again.”
Busy This Week promises to keep QVC+ viewers entertained throughout the holiday season.
