Health and Wellness Director
Freedom Village is seeking a Health and Wellness Director to support its Personal Care and Memory Care community.
The Health and Wellness Director, overseeing the personal care and memory care services within the community, is responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Assessing Residents’ Health: Evaluating the overall health of our residents and creating personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs.
- Emergency Response: In urgent situations, provide immediate intervention to ensure residents’ well-being.
- Promoting Independence: facilitate residents’ independence by offering nursing support that empowers them to maintain their autonomy.
- Operational Excellence: plan, organize, develop, and direct our nursing services, always striving for the highest quality patient care.
- Regulatory Compliance: ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local standards, promoting a safe and compliant environment.

- Supervise and Educate Healthcare Personnel.

Requirements for this position:
- Possess an active Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of two to three years’ experience in a healthcare setting, preferably a Personal Care Home or long-term care background.
- Understanding of Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, or Personal Care Regulations.
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience overseeing a clinical team, preferred.
- Possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
- Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Painter
The Painter is responsible for the overall assigned painting/wallcovering, maintaining the aesthetics of high-traffic common areas (painting and wallcovering). Restoring painted areas in vacated units to like-new conditions and performing drywall repairs as needed.
Qualifications for this position:
- Three to five years of painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting.
- Working knowledge of commercial and residential painting/wallcovering.
- Proficiency in the English language, enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend, and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Certified Nursing Aide
This position includes a $750 sign-on bonus for the 3 PM – 11 PM shift. You’ll receive $250 in your first paycheck, and the remaining $500 after 90 days.
Freedom Village is seeking full-time and part-time CNAs to join its skilled nursing clinical team. It currently has openings for 7 AM-3 PM, 3 PM-11 PM, and 11 PM-7 AM. The starting pay range for this position is $18/hr, with exceptional shift differentials too. **Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range, as it is dependent on skills and experience.
Freedom Village is searching for compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants with a strong desire to provide excellent care to residents who reside in the skilled nursing center.
Duties for this position include:
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
- Answer signal lights promptly.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
- Works as a member of the team.
- Gets along well with co-workers.
- Accepts change in a positive manner.
Qualifications for this position:
- Successful completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric Long Term Care (LTC) nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with the State registry is required.
