It was an all-star lineup Wednesday night in Finneran Pavilion at Villanova University for a live taping of the Roommates Show podcast by Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.
Joining the former Villanova turned Knicks basketball stars were Maddy Siegrist, Jay Wright, and Jason Kelce, writes Owen Hewitt for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Roommates Show launched in February 2024, and included a third co-host, Matt Hillman, Hart’s teammate at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C.
Wednesday night’s podcast gave an early look at Villanova’s men’s and women’s basketball teams. Players were introduced, along with coaches Denise Dillon and Kevin Willard.
Willard left Maryland to coach Villanova in April after the Wildcats fired Kyle Neptune. He knows Hart and Brunson from when he coached against them as the head coach at Seton Hall for 12 seasons.
A later segment featured former Wildcats coach Jay Wright, who said Willard did a “great job” when Seton Hall beat Villanova in the 2016 Big East tournament finals.
“He had a great game plan. Thank God he’ll be doing that for us now, not against us.”
Jason Kelce was the show’s final guest, talking with Brunson and Hart about the New Heights podcast, the WWE, and the Tush Push.
