New Hope resident Bradley Cooper was recently spotted in New York with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, on their way to an event celebrating Kendall Jenner, writes Alessia Amorosini for Vanity Fair.
What caught the public’s attention was Cooper’s phone in his left hand, playing the recent Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs game.
It’s no secret how deep the actor’s love for the Philadelphia football team runs, having grown up in the Philly area.
In his role in David O. Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” Cooper played the son of Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver, whose characters were intense Eagles fans.
Cooper is frequently spotted at Eagles games and even introduced the team at Super Bowl LIX when the Eagles beat the Chiefs, 40-22.
During his introduction at that game, Cooper held Declan LeBaron, a young fan suffering from systemic juvenile arthritis. The actor had met the eight-year-old at the playoff game and surprised him with tickets to Super Bowl LIX.
In a Howard Stern interview from 2023, Cooper stated that he would rather see the Eagles win the Super Bowl than receive an Oscar for his film “Maestro.”
“I know. I’m sick,” he joked.
Cooper’s daughter, Lea De Seine, is an Eagles fan just like her father and attended the Super Bowl with him.
“I used to come with my dad, and now I get to bring my daughter. It’s just a beautiful thing in life,” Cooper said.
