A new West Goshen Target store is set to open soon in West Chester, writes Lori Comstock in Philly Burbs.
The new store, located at 985 Paoli Pike in the West Goshen Shopping Center, will open on Aug. 17. The physical space will span 120,000 square feet, slightly smaller than the average Target store.
The new opening comes as a part of the company’s plan to open dozens of stores nationwide. Construction on the West Goshen location has lasted several months.
The company selects new store locations based on a variety of factors. This includes community need, site constraints, and other Target locations nearby.
The upcoming West Goshen Target will feature a CVS Pharmacy and a Starbucks café.
Available services will include Drive Up, Order Pickup, same-day delivery, and next day delivery. Approximately 120 team members will be employed.
The store will be open from 8 AM to 11 PM.
According to a new plan announced in March, Target aims to open and remodel hundreds of stores over the next decade to drive sales and improve shopper experience. New and renovated stores will feature a more open floor plan and an expanded assortment of items across all departments.
The new plan also includes improving in-store pickup options to enhance the customer experience overall.
