Delaware County will celebrate the second annual Delco Gives, hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County (the Foundation), on May 8-9, 2025. With more than 270 nonprofits signed up, this county-wide giving day is a powerful opportunity to support the organizations that serve and strengthen our community every day.
Last year, over 9,600 donors raised over $1.7 million for nearly 300 nonprofits during the inaugural Delco Gives. This year’s event will conclude with a free, family-friendly celebration of Delco’s community spirit and generosity at Rose Tree Park (5 to 7:30 PM) on Friday, May 9. The community is invited to join the festivities.
The celebration at Rose Tree Park will feature family-friendly activities, including games, music, food trucks, beer and wine from local vendors, and more. iHeart Radio’s Buster will be broadcasting live, and Jason Martinez from FOX29 will be the emcee. More than 100 nonprofits will be in attendance. The Foundation will announce the final Delco Gives amount raised at 7:00 p.m.!
“Delco Gives is a powerful reminder of what makes our community special—people and businesses coming together to support the nonprofits that strengthen Delaware County every day. We invite everyone to join us to celebrate the organizations making a real difference right here at home, said Frances Sheehan, President of The Foundation for Delaware County.
Sheehan added, “If you or your employees are looking for ways to get involved, we welcome volunteers to help make Delco Gives a success.”

What is Delco Gives?
Through an online giving platform, Delco Gives encourages the community to explore and donate to a diverse range of Delaware County nonprofits. Participating organizations range from those focused on the arts, education, and healthcare to other causes, including animals, veterans, the environment, seniors, and more.
See profiles of the nonprofits.
In 2024, the median donation was only $30, proving that every gift counts. All proceeds will go directly to participating nonprofits. Every donation will be matched with bonus funding from the Foundation and generous sponsors, making each contribution go further. Bonus funds are based on the number of donors to each organization, not the number of dollars. Additional cash prizes sponsored by local businesses are also awarded throughout May 8-9, 2025.
