Two Local Liquor Stores in Pennsylvania’s Top Five for Sales

Two state-owned Fine Wines and Good Spirits stores in Bucks County ranked among the top five for sales in Pennsylvania in 2023-2024.

Last year was strong for Fine Wines and Good Spirits stores in Bucks County, which recorded over $173.3 million in sales, with two coming among Pennsylvania’s top five for sales, writes Chris Ullery for the Bucks County Courier Times.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board recently released a report for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, showing that state-owned liquor stores made over $3.2 billion in sales across the commonwealth, liquor and sales taxes included.

The Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Feasterville (822B Pennsylvania Boulevard) sold more than $18.3 million in alcohol, while the Doylestown Borough location (132 Veterans Lane) sold over $16.6 million, putting them in third and fourth place statewide, respectively, out of a total of 582 locations.

The Quakertown store (1465 West Broad Street) came in at No. 50 in Pennsylvania after achieving roughly $9.9 million in sales last year.

Overall, Bucks County ranked in fourth place among counties with the most liquor sales, preceded only by Allegheny County ($342 million), Philadelphia County ($278.2 million), and Montgomery County ($246.7 million).
