The New Sapphire Lounge at Philadelphia Airport Is Open, and Gorgeous

Unique to airport lounges, the Sapphire Lounge at PHL includes a Philadelphia sports team memorabilia wall.

The new Sapphire Lounge by The Club at PHL opened Thursday at the Philadelphia International Airport and is ready to be admired, writes Zach Griff for The Points Guy.

The 20,000-square-foot lounge has a wide variety of top amenities, including a signature bar, dining room, wellness center, game room, beer garden, children’s play area, and work and relaxation areas.

It adds a definite glow to the airport’s environment.

The credit card lounge, sleek and fresh, sports a modern design with plenty of natural light.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge Philadelphia is located in the post-security corridor connecting Terminals D and E.

The space is open daily from 5 AM to 10 PM.

Authorized card members can enter the lounge for free and can bring up to two guests.

Unique to Philadelphia is a memorabilia wall filled with sports gear from Philly’s major league teams.

A beer garden across from the game room is Chase’s first. It features some games, a mural of Philadelphia, and lots of greenery. The atmosphere feels more like a beer garden in Fishtown than being in a major airport.
