Ambler mom Tiffany Williams gave her son Jayden the gift of life for the second time when she donated her kidney to him, reports Matteo Iadonisi for 6abc.
“Jayden and I are, I guess we’re bonded for life, really,” said Williams. “He has a piece of me.”
Now, the pair have received another gift – Super Bowl tickets from the NFL and the Eagles. The mother-son duo will get to watch their favorite team live as they face off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Eleven-year-old Jaden received an organ transplant in June. His procedure was successful so he no longer requires dialysis.
Mother and son were first invited to attend the game by the Eagles in October. They were then invited to the NFC Championship game, where they received a huge surprise after they were brought onto the field.
They learned not only did they get tickets for the game, but they would be flown out to attend Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
The pair hopes to use this opportunity to raise awareness for kidney donations as well as organ donations in general.
